INSURANCE INFORMATION
Understanding Our Insurance Policies
OCD Spectrum is an out-of-network provider. We do not directly bill insurance companies. However, many clients with PPO or out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement for services.
Upon request, we provide a superbill, a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first session to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Questions to ask your insurer:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible, and has it been met?
- What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
- Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?

BILLING & PAYMENT
Detailed Billing Information
Payment and Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and checks. We do not directly bill insurance companies.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill for reimbursement submission to your insurer. Many clients with PPO plans receive 50–80% reimbursement after their deductible is met.
Good Faith Estimate: In compliance with the No Surprises Act, we provide a Good Faith Estimate to all self-pay clients prior to services beginning.

Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee. This policy allows us to offer that time to other clients in need.
We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if an unexpected situation arises.
